<p>The <b>SQRT</b> function is one of the <a href="../UsageInstructions/InsertFunction.htm#mathtrigonometry" onclick="onhyperlinkclick(this)">math and trigonometry functions</a>. It is used to return the square root of a number.</p>

<h3>Syntax</h3>

<p><b><em>SQRT(number)</em></b></p>
|
|
<p>The <b>SQRT</b> function has the following argument:</p>
