<h1>WEEKDAY Function</h1>
|
|
<p>The <b>WEEKDAY</b> function is one of the <a href="../UsageInstructions/InsertFunction.htm#datetime" onclick="onhyperlinkclick(this)">date and time functions</a>. It is used to determine which day of the week the specified date is.</p>
|

<h3>Syntax</h3>
|
|
<p><b><em>WEEKDAY(serial_number, [return_type])</em></b></p>
|
|
<p>The <b>WEEKDAY</b> function has the following arguments:</p>
|

<td><b><em>return_type</em></b></td>
|
|
<td>A numeric value used to determine the type of the value to be returned. The possible values are listed in the table below.</td>
