<h1>FINV Function</h1>
|
|
<p>The <b>FINV</b> function is one of the <a href="../UsageInstructions/InsertFunction.htm#statistical" onclick="onhyperlinkclick(this)">statistical functions</a>. It is used to return the inverse of the (right-tailed) F probability distribution. The F distribution can be used in an F-test that compares the degree of variability in two data sets.</p>

<p><b><em>FINV(probability, deg_freedom1, deg_freedom2)</em></b></p>
|
|
<p>The <b>FINV</b> function has the following arguments:</p>

<td>The numerator degrees of freedom, a numeric value greater than 1 and less than 10^10.</td>

<td>The denominator degrees of freedom, a numeric value greater than 1 and less than 10^10.</td>
